What is the Society Summit?

The Society Summit is an annual gathering that brings together thought leaders, innovators, and community builders from various sectors to discuss and explore solutions for societal challenges.

The Society Summit 2024 will take place 20-21 November in Skellefteå, Sweden. The main events will be held at the Sara Cultural Centre, a state-of-the-art venue located in the heart of Skellefteå.

Registration and Attendance


How do I register for the Society Summit?

The Society Summit is an event where we seek to engage a broad audience with diverse backgrounds to participate in our think tanks. Please express your interest in participating by registering, and we will do our best to allocate you to a specific think tank that aligns with your area of expertise.

Please note that seats are limited. We encourage you to let us know your interest in participating as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you in the think tank that aligns with your expertise.

What is the cost of attending the Summit?

The cost of attending the Summit is free. However, please be aware that there is a no-show fee of 1000 SEK if you register but do not attend.

The reason for this no-show fee is to cover the costs that will still be incurred, such as reserved seating, materials, and other event-related expenses. This ensures that resources are used efficiently and helps us accommodate all interested participants.

Travel and Accommodation

How do I get to Skellefteå?

Skellefteå is easily accessible by plane, train, and bus. The nearest airport is Skellefteå Airport (SFT), which has direct flights from major Swedish cities. There are also train and bus services connecting Skellefteå with other parts of Sweden. We recommend checking local travel providers for schedules and bookings.

Are there accommodation options near the event venue?

There are a number of rooms reserved for the Society Summit for the dates November 19-20-21.
Guests must book and pay for their own room. Please book in advance as Skellefteå is a popular destination.

Scandic Terms and Conditions:
The last booking date is October 20, 2024.
Guests can change and/or cancel their room until 18:00 on the day of arrival. After that, or in case of a no-show, the hotel reserves the right to charge for the nights not stayed.

Will meals be provided during the summit?

Yes, meals and refreshments will be provided throughout the summit. Attendees will enjoy a variety of options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices, featuring locally sourced ingredients from the Skellefteå region.

Is there a special dinner event?

Yes, there will be a gala dinner on the evening of November 20, where attendees can enjoy a gourmet meal and networking. The dinner is included in the registration fee, but please RSVP during the registration process to secure your spot.
